SUMMARY:

Murphy Mulhall represented RKD in sourcing their new Dublin HQ (approx. 16,000 sq. ft.) The Eight Building, Newmarket in Dublin 8.

RKD had no experience acting as a client themselves, so we guided them through the office acquisition process.

In parallel, we were tasked with securing a sub-tenant for their existing Ballsbridge office.

Through a proactive, hands-on approach and strong market insight, we delivered a seamless experience and secured a sub-tenant in record time.

BACKGROUND:

RKD engaged Murphy Mulhall to source a new Dublin HQ (approx. 16,000 sq. ft.). A key driver behind the relocation was the need to bring three separate offices together into one cohesive and workspace.
While RKD are highly experienced in designing buildings, they no experience managing their own relocation as an end user.

In parallel, RKD needed to exit their office in Ballsbridge and secure a suitable sub-tenant quickly and efficiently.

We provided hands-on support throughout the entire process, making a complex and unfamiliar project straightforward and manageable.

Acting on RKD’s behalf, we led negotiations to ensure the client’s interests were fully protected and that optimal commercial outcomes were achieved. Our experience allowed us to add value in areas where the client required additional expertise.

Alongside the relocation, we also had to sub-let RKD’s existing office in Ballsbridge. Utilising our market knowledge and network, we implemented a targeted strategy which resulted in securing a high-quality sub-tenant in record time.

In addition, Murphy Mulhall secured a strong sub-tenant for their Ballsbridge office, allowing the client to transition seamlessly to their new premises.
